FOODFIGHT! is a computer-animated film produced by Threshold Entertainment and directed by Larry Kasanoff. The film features the voices of Charlie Sheen, Hilary Duff, Wayne Brady, Eva Longoria Parker, Greg Ellis, Haylie Duff, Chris Kattan, Christopher Lloyd and more. It's been in development since 2002 (and at one point the hard drives holding the animation were stolen, the filmmakers had to start over) and Bud Tower, songwriter on the Foodfight! soundtrack, has confirmed MGM has picked it up for a 2009 release.
In '07, Keith Ridenour, Doug Shawe, and Wayne Hood and I wrote a song for the feature animated film "FOODFIGHT!". The movie comes out in 2009 and, Michael Lloyd, music supervisor chose "WOW!" to introduce "Madam X," a character voiced-over by Eva Longoria. (Additional voice overs done by Charlie Sheen and Hilary Duff.) FOODFIGHT! will be distributed by MGM and is one of the most ambitious animated films ever made (production budget around $60 million). Atlantic Records recording artist Shanna Crooks is singing "WOW!" and the song will also be on the movie's major label soundtrack.
Jesus, it's going to end up just like Delgo O_o I mean, a voice-cast full of people who haven't done any good work in recent years, and outdated animation? It's going to fail, and fail hard. And it's sad to see that, because of all the time and effort these people spent on it. 60 MILLION FOR THIS. And it's just going to be compared to newer films like Wall-E.....I almost don't want to see it released. I hope this thing might actually turn out to be good.
